Tony Cuzzone, current York Township Trustee and candidate for York Township Clerk:

“I will ensure that the office is accessible and transparent; two objectives that go hand-in-hand.

As Trustee I have audited all of the Township’s bills for the last 12 years - I will bring that same sense of accountability and transparency to the Clerk’s Office. York Township has a strong tradition of never denying requests for agendas, minutes or budgets; a tradition I will continue. Last year, I was a proud yes vote on upgrading the Township website. The upgrade included cost-effective measures and tools to publish documents of interest online.

More than just being able to produce public records as requested, I will maintain an open-door policy. With this policy, any resident can come to my office to obtain clarity on any topic of Township records they may have questions regarding. That is the gold standard of access and transparency, and I will hold myself personally accountable to that standard.”
